Founded in 2010, OceanAlpha is China’s first high-tech enterprise dedicated to the R&D, production, and sales of unmanned surface vessels (USVs).
Over the past decade, we have grown into one of the very few companies globally capable of providing a full range of USV products and industry-specific solutions. Our solutions are currently applied in domains such as inland water survey, marine survey, maritime safety, water rescue, firefighting, and more.
To date, our unmanned vessels have been deployed in over 60 countries and regions, serving 600+ customers across various sectors.
Collectively, they have completed missions exceeding one million service kilometers, with more than 4,000 USVs and water rescue robots successfully delivered.
Our journey began with a clear vision: Inspiring maritime autonomy. To advance maritime autonomy and support safer, smarter, and more efficient operations on water.
Today, we take pride in being part of an evolving industry — one where innovation, collaboration, and real-world impact drive progress.
We see ourselves not just as a technology provider, but as a trusted partner working alongside our customers and peers to shape the future of marine autonomy.
In the field of unmanned surface vessel development, we have consistently approached our work with the mindset of explorers, delving into various specialized domains. It is our privilege to have contributed to the successful development of multiple USV prototypes that represent China’s firsts and even global pioneering achievements.
OceanAlpha is headquartered in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area of China and operates large-scale production and R&D bases in Zhuhai, Weihai, Hefei, Yancheng and Zhongshan.
Our infrastructure includes R&D, testing, manufacturing, and office space totaling over 85,000 square meters, annual production capacity of 500–800 USVs of various sizes and 3,000–4,000 water rescue robots.
We have a comprehensive supply chain system and standardized production processes, and qualifications including ISO9000 (Quality), ISO14000 (Environment), OHSAS18000 (Safety), and approval from the China Classification Society (Factory Access).
At OceanAlpha, we understand that the future of maritime autonomy is not something any single company can achieve alone. It takes collaboration across industries, trust with customers, and continuous learning from real-world challenges.
We see ourselves as part of a broader ecosystem — one that includes governments, research institutions, private enterprises, and end-users.
Every project we undertake, every product we deliver, and every kilometer our USVs travel brings us closer to a shared goal: a smarter, safer, and more sustainable future of Ocean.
