Redundant Propulsion & Power
The L42 redefines resilience with four independent electric outboard motors + two 20 kW diesel generators—a dual-layer system that delivers silent, precise low-speed control and sustained high-power output.
If any motor or generator fails, the remaining units maintain essential navigation and emergency return capabilities, ensuring uninterrupted operations in harsh conditions.
Multi-Day Continuous Deployment
For long-range survey missions, the L42’s optimized energy management and lightweight design enable 8-day operations at 4 knots or a maximum range of 810nm.
This eliminates frequent port stops for refueling/recharging, reducing operational costs and time constraints for large-scale maritime coverage.
